When iPadOS 17 arrives latterly this fall, some possessors of aged iPads may eventually have a reason to upgrade. What did we miss on iOS 15?
The most noticeable feature missing from iOS 15 is multi-device control. All iPads, iPads Air and Pros, and iPhones that sold under $250 have this option built into the device. But after the release of ios 16, it’s only available for those who purchased the tablet model. What if we told you that you can toggle the accessibility of your screen depending on where it’s placed in your house? Maybe you’d buy the premium iPad Pro model, which comes with keyboard and trackpad support. Although the idea of buying that sort of machine is beyond me. Who needs keyboards when the iPhone is already equipped with Siri, Face Time and HomeKit support.
What about MagSafe compatibility?
Apple has announced MagSafe compatibility with the iPad, starting with iPads mini. As mentioned above, you can use your phone wirelessly with the MagSafe connector instead of cables. To add this functionality to your device, go to Settings > Accessibility and make sure Bluetooth is connected to your device. Now you can easily take MagSafe off when you don’t need it. Even better, you can enable pairing mode or even use your phone wirelessly and without cables! Don’t worry though; we’ll see what happens.
How does my camera compare to older generation devices?
I remember being blown away at how powerful my old computer was. Then when I upgraded to new hardware, I noticed that my cameras didn’t perform like they used to. Sure, I had good lenses and lots of memory storage, but I missed out on some advanced features since I couldn’t shoot HD quality footage, especially 1080P. However, with recent upgrades such as uioper, I have finally gotten around these issues. Uioper uses AI technology to optimize the image processing of your camera. In real time, it analyzes the photo you took and optimizes many aspects of its production. In the background, it automatically detects subjects within the frame and takes the best possible picture. No longer do I pause every movie scene to adjust settings and zoom before jumping right in to the next shot. With fewer instances of lag and smoother motion, taking pictures from your laptop feels really fast and smooth. So far so good.
Do we still need USB port?
Yes, you do. Since I mentioned earlier that you can transfer data between multiple devices using a single password, now you can plug it in as long as you have a USB connection and still stay protected. It gives us greater security than ever. We can’t tell you exactly which ports it comes with though, since it currently depends on the model of your device. From tablets to laptops, including models with touchscreen displays that have physical ports (which I’m looking forward to), you can use your mobile device as a docking station. Once again, I’m impressed by Apple for coming up with something I’ve never thought of before in my lifetime.
